About the Client

Background

Green Portfolio, a prominent portfolio management firm for Indians and NRIs, offers two key services: PMS (₹50L minimum) and Smallcase (₹6-7k minimum). While Smallcase consistently generated leads, Green Portfolio's PMS struggled to attract high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) crucial for driving growth.

To scale Green Portfolio’s PMS segment by generating high-quality & high-value leads leading to PMS eventually for business sustainability

Challenge

Identifying and effectively reaching high-net-worth individuals capable of investing ₹50L was both a critical and challenging task.

Our Approach

To effectively scale Green Portfolio’s PMS, we started by analyzing data from the past year to identify the highest-performing cities and locations for affluent investors. We focused on cities and gated communities known for housing high-net-worth individuals, ensuring we targeted the right demographic for ₹50L+ investments.

To directly connect with the affluent class, we recognized that reaching individuals in premium gated communities would be key. We leveraged the partnership with MyGate, a platform widely used within residential societies. MyGate’s deep penetration in gated communities offered us a valuable touchpoint to engage with high-net-worth individuals in the right context and environment.

While MyGate provided a direct line to affluent gated communities, we wanted to double the impact. We expanded our reach by running location-based ads across Meta in the same high-value areas identified in our analysis. In these ads we put the messaging we positioned Green Portfolio as the trusted partner for wealth management. With messaging like “Trusted by [X] number of users for PMS” and “We only charge commission when you earn, ” we ensured we were speaking to the needs of high-net-worth individuals looking for secure & reliable investment opportunities.

To maximize conversion quality, we structured our lead generation form to capture high-intent prospects. By incorporating qualifying questions like “Have you previously invested in portfolio management?” “Do you want to invest 5 lakh in stock portfolios which are professionally managed?” we ensured that only the most serious leads with the highest potential to convert were entered into the funnel. This allowed us to focus resources on engaging those with genuine interest in investing ₹50L+.
